MASS OBLITERATION è un progetto solista, vagamente ancorato al concetto di poesia e musica, o meglio rumore.
Un progetto low-fi, artigianale e sincero, senza mediazioni, senza apparizioni, senza compromessi.

I MASS OBLITERATION erano una band.
fondata dai cugini Andrea Lisi e Luca Zamberti nel 2006 a Roma.
Fin da subito c’è la ricerca di un sound estremo ma fuori dagli schemi e in grado di distinguersi, anche per le tematiche trattate.
Del demo-ep “Abrahamithic Curse” (disponibile ora solo in download gratuito) si può dire che sia “old-school death metal” ma tante sono le sfumature che rendono fin da subito particolari le canzoni e l’attitudine dei Mass..
Con una formazione a due chitarre e due voci, e dopo un paio di anni di concerti su e giù per l’Italia, il gruppo entra nei rinomati 16th Cellar Studios di Stefano “Saul” Morabito per registrare il secondo ep autoprodotto “Fratricide”, marcando già profondi miglioramenti nella produzione nonché nel songwriting.
Seguono altri concerti in giro per la penisola, fino a che, per motivi personali, la band si prende una pausa a tempo indeterminato.

MASS OBLITERATION were a band
Founded in Rome during 2006 by cousins Andrea Lisi and Luca Zamberti.
Since the beginning they look for an extreme sound, but out of most schemes of the death metal genre, dealing with different issues.
They recorded two demo-eps “Abrahamithic Curse” (2007) and “Fratricide” (2009) with different line-ups, also collaborating with the renowed death metal producer Stefano “Saul”, Morabito (Hour of penance, Fleshgod apocalypse..). In 2010 they record one last track (“Voice of a betrayed generation”, avalaible on Fratricide 2011 edition), then take a halt to pursue other interests in life.
